All Stars Slot

The All Stars slot game by Simbat is split into two sections, the basic and top games. Players can pick which game they’d rather compete on.

The Basic game offers one payline, with the exception of the star symbol, which counts as a multiple icon across a number of the reels. In this feature, players can auto hold the reels so the following spin will lead to lucrative wins. Players will need to play this feature well though, and realise when it’d be best to hold the icons and when it’s appropriate to mix it up.

After collecting 4 or more credits, players can move their way up to the ‘Top’ game where 5 paylines are on offer. In this level, punters will need to bet 5, 10, 20 or 40 credits. This amount can be affected by the number of credits in the win bank.

The game itself has the capacity to influence how much players stake on a spin, which in truth, is a recipe for disaster. The game states that control is with the players throughout, but this is questionable when there is such a function like the win bank in the first. It all seems very dubious to us.

Graphics Which Are a Bit Confusing

The display of the All Stars slot game is quite confusing and in your face, but players certainly can’t complain about a lack of information being on show. The majority of the screen, and the top half of the slot itself, is depicting the reels and all the paytables.

Players will notice there are 5 paylines displayed, but this is exclusively on offer for those that play in the Top game version. The three winning lines themselves are horizontal lines across the row of 3, while two horizontal paylines going across the 3 reels make up the 5. In the basic game, only the horizontal line in the middle of the 3 rows counts as the payline.

All the information that is displayed at the top of the screen, and the bottom half of the slot, is meant to explain the paytable. Players will need to be concentrating when they’re trying to work it out, as it does offer an awful lot of symbols and numbers, which can be quite overwhelming.

However, the in-play buttons are flashing on the slot and their functions are clear and obvious, meaning players will have no qualms in seeing what buttons mean what.

In-Play That Might Take Some Getting Used To

The paytable seems quite confusing, but I’m going to try and explain it for our readers’ benefit. At least two icons of anything will win players money, meaning that it doesn’t take much for a payout to occur. The following icons pay out 8 if there are three of them in a line and 4 if there are just two: oranges, blue balls, lemons and bells.

Items that are deemed more valuable in the slot are strawberries, blueberries, watermelon and the infamous casino slot icon – 7. Should these complete a payline with three of them, then 12 coins would be paid out. Only two of them appearing in one line wins the player 4. The stars are even more valuable as they win the player 200 if three appear in the payline – now that sounds good!

When it comes to the Top version of the slot, all the paytable icons are displayed on the top half of the slot. No surprise that these are all worth far more in that version than they do in the basic format. For example, the three stars in a line win players 200, 300, 600 and a 1,000 when players stake 5, 10, 20 or 40 coins respectively.

The respectable paytable will light up, depending in the format the game is set. So only look at the numbers that are light up before spinning, as these will show what each icon is worth!

This Game Is Definitely Not an Mvp

Despite the All Stars title Simbat have given this slot game, it certainly isn’t worthy of such a title. The in-play is confusing and the tool that gives the slot game control of adjusting the stake, despite the player still having final control, is a flawed concept and shouldn’t be anywhere near a slot game.

It’s a shame though, as Simbat are known for making good games and especially good visuals for them – but the All Stars in-play simply hasn’t worked. Casino players are advised to go elsewhere in our opinion.
