Reely Poker Online Slot Machine Review
This slot is one of several slots by Leander based around other gambling pursuits, including bingo and roulette alongside this poker based game. At first glance you might not realise it’s a slot at all, the playing cards taking up much of the screen, however you’ll soon understand this the basic premise of the game is a slot, with some poker additions.
The look and feel of the slot takes you back to Western times; the title of the slot framed exactly how you might see the credits of an old spaghetti western movie. The playing cards symbols on the slot look old and faded to add to the authentic Western feel and this is emphasised by the slot being framed on wooden boards. One slightly disappointing aspect of the slot is the background sound, which could have been much more fitting than the easy going slightly slow piano based tune it actually employs (strangely you’ll find a much more fitting tune when hitting the info button…).
This slot has two distinct features. Both of these are based on poker hands – the first is a side bet option which you’ll play alongside every spin and the other is a feature activated by the Ace scatter symbol.
Set up and Play for Reely Poker
This slot by Leander has five reels and a maximum of 30 win lines. You can choose to play anything between 1 and 30 lines, although if you want to play the side bet feature alongside the slot you’ll have to play all 30 lines. The side bet will add another 10 lines onto the cost of your spin. This side bet sees you choose a row of symbols (top, middle or bottom) and three five card poker hands will be dealt to the right of the reels. Should your chosen hand be the best of the 3 hands your side bet will win at odds of 2 to 1.
This slot has a wild symbol, which is the joker and this will substitute for any other card apart from the bonus and scatter symbols. The joker is also the top paying symbol in the game, winning 10,000x your coin amount when landing five in a row (all wins at this slot are paid for landing 3 or more consecutive symbols on a win line from left to right, starting with the leftmost symbol). The King is next best, paying 5000x when landing 5 in a row and the pay-outs decrease as the card values decrease.
Alongside the side bet option you’ll also find a number of others, including an auto play feature where the slot will run for up to 500 spins without interruption, a mute button and a speed setting button.
The main feature of the game is the Multi-hand Infinite Holdem Bonus round, which is activated when landing the bonus scatter symbol 3 or more times on the reels.
Reely Poker Infinite Holdem Bonus Round
The number of bonus symbols landed to activate the feature will determine how many 2 card poker hands you’ll start with. You’ll now play Texas Holdem and make the best possible hands from a combination of your 2 card hands and the five cards that appear on the flop, turn and river. If your hand is a pair or better you’ll win a prize, however if one or more of the hands totals two pairs or better you’ll also keep the hand until the next round. This can continue on and on if you keep hitting 2 pairs or more, this being the reason behind the word ‘infinite’ in the title of the feature. Some big prizes can be won during the feature, a Royal Flush for example paying 500x and a straight flush 400x.
Reely Poker Slot Conclusion
Leander has something of a reputation for producing good quality, original games and they’ve managed it again with this innovative slot. Not everyone will instantly take to the game, but if you do enjoy poker or card games in general, this might be the perfect slot for you. If playing the side bet alongside the main game you’ll be continually involved and the feature of the game can be particularly profitable and long lasting.
This is a slot I will certainly be returning to, with enough to keep me entertained for a while as I wait for the bonus round to swing into town again. This is a recommended slot.
