The 90-ball game takes place on a 3x9 grid, with prizes awarded for completing one line of numbers, two lines or a full house.

With 75-ball bingo, not only does the game take place on a 5x5 grid, but there’s the option to purchase specific patterns. Want to complete letters of the alphabet, love hearts or fireworks? At My Stars Bingo, those are just some of the patterned shapes available when you play 75-ball bingo.

Slots as Well

There are also slots to play at My Stars Bingo. This is a good thing. The slots themselves are not however. They’re not awful, but to be frank, games like Fluffy Favourites and Sugar Train aren’t great either. Likewise with Shaman’s Dream, Temple of Isis or any one of the 20-odd slots on offer.

It’s not weird that people should be into having their future predicted – that’s pretty common. What is weird is to find an entire subsection of the horoscope page devoted to quotes, complete with cheap stock imagery of galaxies overladen with sickly quotes.

“Look how they shine for you,” one reads. “Don’t just look up at stars. Be one,” goes another. What has all this got to do with bingo? Absolutely nothing, but it gives an indication of the maverick character that pervades My Stars Bingo. For all its failings, it would be fair to say you won’t find another site like this. Whether that’s a good thing or not depends on your belief in the supernatural, destiny, serendipity and unseen forces.

My Stars Bingo is one hell of a site. For the most part, it’s a quirky but substandard bingo site whose design and games don’t quite cut it. The promotions are occasionally confusing, the text areas are hard to read and the slots are below average. The wildcard that makes or breaks this site is, bizarrely, its horoscope feature.
