I remember when Britney Spears first appeared on the music scene back in the late 90's. It seemed like everybody except me was into her music, and that really was a bit irritating. The worst of this was when I played soccer, and a kid who was much more talented than me on the team demanded to play her music before every game. Needless to say, I am not a big fan of Britney Spears, and I was a bit perturbed to find that Aristocrat Games was debuting the Britney game at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas.
The slot is one of a slew of video slots that Aristocrat is launching in 2015, and includes big name brands such as The Big Bang Theory and Sons of Anarchy. The developer has taken to developing games with big touch screens and crisp 4k video, all of which appear in the Britney slot.
Great First Impression
Surprisingly, Britney looks like a great slot. I have to say that the game actually stood out quite well on the showroom floor, with the curved high definition displays calling out aloud from afar. Feature wise, the game includes a variety of symbols of different sizes, with many of them being Britney from her various music videos as well as boots, microphones, jewelry, red lips, perfume and more.
Features are likely to include Free Spins, Wilds, Win Multipliers, and bonus games centered around music hits "Hit Me Baby One More Time", "Toxic", "Crazy", and "Oops! I Did It Again", which will happen to play at the machine in various times during gameplay sessions. It also appears that the game is tied into a progressive jackpot network, allowing players the chance to walk away with huge prizes.
Aristocrat Short on Details
Aristocrat are very tight-lipped about the game, and quite restrictive when it came to video and photos, but I can confirm that the game cabinet itself is absolutely gorgeous, with the twin displays showcasing action and morphing to take advantage of the game's changing features. One particularly impressive set had the cabinet looking like a giant wheel, with Britney symbols and prizes scrolling through, waiting to award a lucky winner with their big cash prize.
Rounding out the cabinet's display is a very comfortable set of plush leather chairs, which are augmented in a pink look with very comfortable cushions and a very attractive (and Photoshopped) Britney appearing on the back, instantly letting passersby know exactly which title you are playing.
I am confident that Britney will prove to be another platinum hit for this pop diva and another big win for Aristocrat.
